Feleboks at Spelmansstämman

Feleboks will be performing at 1:00-1:25 at the Old Church and 2:20-2:45 at the Vendor Fair Stage.

Feleboks is Mia Burgstede on two-row accordion and Jim Bannon on hardingfele and fiddle. They play tunes old and new from Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, and beyond. Both Mia and Jim are dancers as well as musicians and strive to play music that they themselves would love to dance to.

Feleboks hopes to find the places where traditions overlap and explore the interplay of the drone of the Fele and the pulse of the Boks.

Please note: Feleboks is part of Spelmansstämman at Gammelgården. From 10-4, there are music and dance performances; hands-on art activities; historical building tours of Gammelgården; food trucks and Swedish fika; artists and crafters vendor fair; and historical exhibits. This is a free event that is open to people of all ages.
