Tiny Raccoon July Book Club

Are you looking to discuss books with a like-minded group of readers?

Join the Tiny Raccoon Book Club where we will be covering books every other month ranging from classics to contemporary to sci-fi! We will dig into themes, writing style, character arcs, symbolism and more.

Lauren Albergo will host our next meeting Wednesday July 9 where we will be discussing Circe by Madeline Miller.

A 2018 retelling of Greek myth focused around the life of the witch, Circe. Born in the house of Helios, daughter to the god of the sun, Circe is unlike the rest of her family. She looks for acceptance through connections with mortals and in doing so discovers her own unique path towards power. Miller’s lyrical writing brings Circe’s innermost emotions and motivations to life in this mythic fantasy novel.

Deadline to RSVP is June 1st. To partake in book club, you have to buy the book from the store. We will have books ready for pick up from the store in early June and will notify you via email. Thanks and we are looking forward to hosting the book club!
