💔 Mars’ Story – Why We're Fundraising
Late last week, our sweet rescue pup Mars suddenly became extremely ill — refusing food and water, vomiting, and completely lethargic. Her foster rushed her to the vet where she was diagnosed with Parvovirus, a serious and often fatal illness. Her condition was critical, and we feared the worst.
Thanks to quick action and excellent veterinary care, Mars pulled through. She spent several days in intensive care, and while the first few nights were touch-and-go, this brave little fighter started improving by day three. She’s now back in foster care, growing stronger every day. 💪🐶
While overjoyed with her recovery, her vet bill came to $4,884.70 — a huge strain on the rescue’s budget. That’s why we’re hosting this Wing Night Fundraiser, to help cover the costs and keep saving more dogs like Mars.
