Weaving 101

Weaving is one of the oldest textile techniques in the world. It can be as simple as overlapping two threads or as complicated as using a multi-shaft loom with 100s of threads.

In this class, we will introduce common weaving terms, explore different looms and equipment, and learn simple weaving techniques and variations to make unique cotton coasters. Continue the art form at home for future projects by choosing to purchase the loom you use in class for an additional $30!

Materials: All materials and supplies are included to make hand woven coasters. You will be able to keep the loom you use in the class for $30
