Join us for a sweet summer afternoon at with Cornell Master Beekeeper Chris Layman as we dive into the fascinating world of pollinators!
We'll begin with a lively presentation on native bees and the essential plants that support them. Chris will also share a "forage history" of the region, highlighting how changes over the past 50 years have impacted bee health and habitat.
Afterward, take a guided walk through our pollinator gardens to observe the bees in action - visiting blooms, gathering nectar, and doing the important work of pollination. The event concludes with a honey tasting, featuring honey from our own happy hives.
Don't miss this unique opportunity to learn, taste, and explore! While our workshop offerings are limited this month, we are truly excited to invite you in for this sneak peek. Stay tuned for updates on the public opening of Spiral House Park later this season.
