22nd Annual Lizana Parade

This years Lizana Parade is Sunday February 1st @ 1:00 pm leaving from Lizana Elementary School! The route is exactly the same as it’s always been (excluding the year Moran Rd’s bridge was out)! We leave the school heading up Cable Bridge Rd and make our first turn (right) onto Northrop Cuevas Rd., following it to the end, then making a second (right) turn onto Moran Rd. also following it to the end to turn left onto Cable Bridge Rd, and then to end back at the school where it started!! This parade has no entry fee, so all you need to do is bring your unit to the school by 12 where you will be put in line and plan to have a fun, family oriented good Mardi Gras time! We have a paper for you to sign and a few rules to read over, but besides that it’s real simple and lots of fun!! If you would like to catch at our parade please park anywhere safe alongside Cable Bridge Rd between Lizana Elementary & Northrop Cuevas Rd (you can catch the parade twice if in this area), on Northrup Cuevas Rd, or on Moran rd! Unfortunately the sheriffs department has removed horses/horse & buggy due to safety concerns, so all units except horses/buggies are welcome to participate!
