BALLET
This class will be a multi level focusing on the fundamentals of ballet. The class will start off at the barre with some simple exercises to help you understand posture, leg/arm positions, and balance. From there we will move into the center where we will put the elements of technique we learned at barre to learn things like turns, jumps, and moving steps.
My goal with this class is to create a very fun and safe environment for people of all abilities to feel confident in learning something new! Ballet can be very intimidating to get into as an adult who either hasn’t danced at all or who hasn’t danced since childhood but I am hoping to take some of that intimidation away so that everyone feels comfortable learning this art.
No need for ballet shoes, leotards or tights but please wear clothes that you feel comfortable moving in. You can wear socks if you’d like but the floor can be quite slippery.

She spent a year training at The School of Alberta Ballet before moving to New York City to become a trainee at the Joffrey Ballet School and graduated in 2022.
Performed with the Benjamin Briones Ballet Company in Brooklyn, New York for two seasons before joining Free Flow Dance Theatre Company in 2024.
Along with performing and training she also began teaching ballet and mentoring young dancers back home in Canada as well as in New York, before moving on to teach in Free Flow’s Community Workshop Program.
