Brain Body Connection - Kyle Syverson

Professional and emerging dancers are welcome to attend the Brain-Body Connection Professional Development Series hosted by Free Flow Dance Theatre free of charge. THE ART OF GETTING COMFY- A CONTACT CLASS

This Contact Improvisation-based class is about getting comfy! Getting comfortable in an alive, vital sort of way, where we feel supported and delicious in our bodies. This means being able to consciously access release, and expansion, in our bodies in order to feel a good connection with the floor and with otherbodies. In this session, we will practise rolling and falling, solo, and together. Sourcing support. Lifting and being lifted. Enjoying gravity. Using physics instead of muscle and strain. This class is fun and useful for conventionally trained dancers and movers of any kind!
