Birds & Blooms by Bike

Adults, bring your bike and join us as we roll down the Butler-Freeport Trail to explore nature. There should be plenty of resident birds to see and hear along the trail, and we will be on the lookout for any wildflowers. The pace of this mostly flat ride will be leisurely, with some stops to discuss what we are seeing. We plan to cover a round-trip total of no more than 10-12 miles on hardened trails (crushed stone, dirt and asphalt). Helmets are required. Participants should bring snacks and water. We will start and end at Buffalo Creek Nature Park. This program is free, thanks to funding from the PA Dept. of Conservation and Natural Resources. Space is limited and registration is required. Please register by May 29.
