Commander League is back, with our summer schedule.
PLEASE NOTE: Dates are the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month now, instead of the previous every-other-week system.
Doors at 12, play begins at 12:30
80 minute rounds, when time is called, the active player finishes their turn and the game ends. This will allow us to get three rounds in without running way past store hours. Of course, we'll try our best to do 4 player pods, but sometimes 3- and 5-player pods have to happen.
ALL played cards must be physically present for the deck being played, but can be represented in the deck by a checklist/modal stand-in card. Think of this like a variation of the double-faced card situation. Public zones, you must have the physical card present, but private zones it can be the stand-in card.
We do ask players to adhere to a single deck for any given day. You're free to change from week to week, though.
Entry is $5, and each player can choose from one of two randomized achievement cards for the day. $3 will go to prizing for the day, $2 will go to prizing for the end of the league in
Points will be awarded to players based on how they finish in games (10 for first, 7 for surviving after time, 5 for second, 3 for third, and 2 for fourth and beyond when necessary), as well as via the achievement cards.
**Day prizes split the pool for Most Win points, and Most Achievement points
**End of League prizes split the pool for Best X Win points, Best X Achievement points, and Best X Combined Week points
This league is seven events long, so we'll be looking at the best FOUR finishes during that time.
We're going to try and overlap the League events with other CMDR events as we can, and associated promos will be distributed accordingly. Otherwise, CMDR event promos will be held and used for future events, as per WPN policy.
