Margins and Mosaics, An Ecology/Art Experience with Larry Cornelis and Mary Abma

Explore Canatara Park's shoreline with naturalist, Larry Cornelis and artist, Mary Abma. Walking with respect for the living ecosystem, learning, and engaging in intentional practices of noticing, participants will become acquainted with the rare coastal dune ecosystem situated on the dynamic edge space along Lake Huron's shores.

Create. With instruction and guidance from Mary Abma, participants will create an original artwork using mosaic methods and materials. Each person's unique story of connection will be expressed using the language of art.
