Each year as summer wanes and we prepare for the long winter ahead, we pause to appreciate the glorious, crisp days and vibrant color of autumn in the Adirondacks. The featured exhibit at the Adirondack Artists Guild for the month of October will be “In Transition,” a members’ group show celebrating this beautiful and fleeting season.
The Guild’s fourteen members will each contribute one or more pieces to this fall-themed exhibit, including acrylic, oil and watercolor painting, photography, sculpture, woodcarving, pottery and handmade jewelry, showcasing the colors and textures of autumn.
The show will be up from October 3rd through November 4th, with an opening reception at the gallery on Friday, October 3rd from 5-7 p.m. Refreshments will be provided. All are welcome.
