Auditions for our January show, 1776 the Musical, will be held Saturday, October 25 at 2:00 p.m. at the theater. The show will be directed by Nedra Bloom, with Greg Wiggins serving as the Music Director and Jacqueline B. Stepan as the choreographer.
Audition Information:
*Auditions are open call.
*No advance registration is required.

*The cast requires 25 men, one of whom is 15 to 20. Others range in age to elder statesmen.
*There are only two women, and both are major roles.
*Each cast member portrays a specific historic figure, and every character has lines.

What to Expect:
*Be prepared to sing a 16-bar cut of a song in the style of the show. An accompanist will be available; please bring your sheet music.
*You may be asked to read from the script.
*Be prepared to learn a brief dance combination.
*Please print and bring your audition form (see the download on our website) with you to the audition. (Copies will also be available at the audition.)
*If you have a resume and headshot, you may bring them as well.

Rehearsals:
*Rehearsals will begin in early November.
*Rehearsals will be Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings and will include some Saturday and Sunday afternoons with advance notice.
*Rehearsals will break for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
