Grammar Analysis for University Admission Examination

September METS will be held at the end of the month, just before the second semester begins (for schools on a two-semester schedule). This session focuses on grammar—how we teach it and how students actually use it.
We’ll look at key grammar points from recent university entrance exams, analyze sample questions, and share strategies to help students avoid misunderstandings.
We’ll also check out findings from writing tests that show which grammar forms students use most often, giving us insight into their strengths and weak spots.
Not everyone loves traditional grammar teaching, so we’ll explore alternative approaches: when should grammar be taught directly, and when should it come through communication?
