Indigenous Showcase Featuring Levi Platero at the 2025 Santa Fe Plaza Summer Scene

The Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA) is proud to serve as the presenting sponsor for Lensic 360’s Santa Fe Plaza Summer Scene Indigenous Showcase featuring acclaimed guitarist Levi Platero (Diné) and singer-songwriter Cary Morin (Crow) on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at 6–8 pm.

As part of the evening’s celebration of Indigenous artistry, recent graduates from IAIA’s MFA in Creative Writing (MFACW) program will share readings between musical performances, highlighting the power of storytelling through both music and the written word.

“IAIA is honored to help bring the gift of music and storytelling to our community, residents, and visitors this summer in the heart of Santa Fe,” said Jason S. Ordaz, IAIA Chief Communications Officer.

Held at the historic Santa Fe Plaza, the Summer Scene concert series invites the community and visitors to enjoy free, live performances in the heart of downtown Santa Fe.
