In Shakespeare's Henry IV, Part 1, a divided England faces rebellion as Prince Hal grapples with his wild reputation, while his father, King Henry, battles political unrest and a growing threat from the rebellious Hotspur. The play culminates in a clash at Shrewsbury, where Hal must choose between his dissolute life and his royal duties.
