49th San Francisco Comedy Competition

The final night of the comes to Santa Cruz for a visit to the . This is one of the better shows of the competition because competitors give it their all for a chance to advance to the Semifinals.

16 comics are competing for only five chances to advance. The rest go home.

Tickets for this show are only available at the door. I guess some people haven't advanced to this online ticket tomfoolery. We still want you to know about the show.

The San Francisco Comedy Competition is one of the most prestigious comedy events in North America, launching the careers of notable comedians such as Patton Oswalt, Robin Williams, and Ellen DeGeneres. It’s an outrageously funny evening, where you will see the comedy stars of tomorrow competing for their chance at fame and fortune. Hundreds of comedians audition each year to compete, but only 32 are chosen.
