Still We Speak: A Night of Sonnets & Song for Eaton Fire Relief

Come join us for a special evening filled with beautiful sonnets and heartful music to support the Eaton Fire Relief & Recovery Fund. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Eaton Fire Relief & Recovery Fund. As a theatre company for the actor, Dig Deep Theatre is excited to bring the work of Jose Rivera to the stage, in collaboration with Santa Clarita Shakespeare. Sonnets for an Old Century is a sort of modern-day Spoon River Anthology (a work that most actors would be familiar with, as it is a staple of many acting programs). It is essentially a collection of dramatic monologues. However, in Jose Rivera's contemporary take, we see not only a celebration of people and humanity, but also the struggles of modern life and the injustices of our world, told from the perspecitive of a miriad of Los Angelenos.

Between the sonnets and songs celebrating Los Angeles, we hope to celebrate our beautiful county and raise money for those still in need.
