SALSA & BACHATA DANCE TEAMS AUDITIONS!
For dancers interested in joining our teams.
This your last chance to join one of the best Salsa and Bachata Dance Companies in the Bay Area!
We will be accepting dancers of all levels for all teams (space is limited).
Auditions are as follows:
- Students / Amateur Performance Team
- Pro / Semi-Pro Performance Teams
Mambo Nova Dance Company take pride in quality level dance instruction and provide opportunities for dancers to develop and build performance and social level skills through technical training for on stage or on the dance floor.
You must show up on the day of orientation and audition. If you cannot make it to the audition day, please contact us directly.
Attire:
Wear comfortable clothing, and sports gear preferably (NO JEANS, NO SKIRTS). Dance shoes are recommended but not required.
Format:
1) Quick warm-up
2) Learn footwork & partnering combo.
3) Demo Dance
4) Discuss Team commitments.
We are looking for dancers of all levels with enthusiasm, commitment, positive attitudes, and desire to improve their dance skills and most importantly have fun and enjoy!
Through this process, you will improve your skills, develop your style & technique, and learn how to be a better dancer/leader/follower. You will be trained under the direction of two of the Bay Area's Top Dancers & Instructors: Hector Reyes and Annaliza Peña.
Dancers auditioning will be evaluated on timing, performance presence and ability to learn a routine.
