Rueda de Casino Salsa is a lively, fast-paced style of Salsa that originated in Havana, Cuba. The calling of steps in a round, along with constant partner swapping, creates a team atmosphere often resulting in big smiles and contagious laughter. So much fun!
Even if you think you have two left feet, but are still a bit curious, come try it out!
Our community is an eclectic, all-ages group of dancers who love to move our bodies and connect to others through music. This class promises to be supportive and patient to all who want to get their groove on! No partner required!
Level 1 - For beginners and anyone who wants to improve their understanding of basic cuban salsa!
Level 2 - For more experienced salsa dancers. To join this group you must have a solid basic step, basic turns, cross-body lead, and grasp of salsa timing. For Adv Beg/ Intermediate

Stephen Smith is a Salsa and Bachata Instructor with 12+ years experience teaching Latin Dance. Last summer, Stephen embarked on a country-wide tour in which he taught in 22 cities across 12 states. Prior to moving to NM, Stephen ran a dance business on Maui, where he taught Salsa and Bachata for 7 years.
