Friday 30th May (Indian Arrival Day) - Lower North Oropouche Lagoons 💦
Join the Hikers United Crew for our upcoming hike to the Lower North Oropouche Lagoons💦. This is a river hike (you will get wet💧; however, life jackets will be provided).
This trek will take us approximately 1 hour - 1 hour 15 mins to get to the destination pool. It includes an upriver walk (varying from knee to waist high water) along a rocky river with beautiful limestone pools and a swim through a gorge, after which we will stop and relax at a large pool with a small waterfall which is perfect for bathing😁. After bathing for about 1.5 hours to 2 hours we will head back downriver to the start of the trail. 🍃🌿

Because it is a river hike and you will be getting wet, you are encouraged to pack light (only essentials) and bring a waterproof phone case or pouch/bag for your phone and keys.
