Through spoken word, song, and storytelling The Florida Theatrical Association presents FREEDOM PROJECT which explores pivotal moments and figures in Florida's Black history - from Augusta Savage and Zora Neale Hurston to civil rights activist Eula Johnson. These moving pieces offer a space for reflection, education, and celebration of resilience and identity
