September 5, 6 & 7, two of the best tango teachers are coming to Utah. They are both from Argentina — David Caputo and Lucía Petcovich.
They will be giving a workshop in Sandy, Utah, with the following program:
Friday, September 5th
7:00 PM – 8:15 PM Class 1: Embrace and Movement
We’ll explore how embrace and music influence the couple’s movement and connection.
Milonga Friday (7:30 – 11:45 PM)

Saturday, September 6th
1:00 PM – 2:15 PM Class 2: Tango, Giros
Giros in milonguero and salón styles, with both follower and leader embellishments.
2:30 PM – 3:45 PM Class 3: Vals, Vaivén
Useful techniques and rhythm for more connected and fluid dancing in vals.
Milongas Saturday (7:30 – 11:45 PM)

Sunday, September 7th
1:00 PM – 2:15 PM Class 4: Tango, Salida del ‘40
Focus on highs and lows and different alternatives for the Salida del ‘40.
2:30 PM – 3:45 PM Class 5: Milonga, Traspié
This class will guide participants to develop their own unique traspiés, starting from a simple foundation.
