Roam & Reflect - Mindful Hike at East Palisades

East Palisades Unit - Indian Trail (4 mile loop)

What to expect:

• Meet-up at the trailhead prior to the hike. If you are running late, please communicate your ETA with the organizer.
• We will start off with some light, dynamic stretches and a reflection prompt to ponder along the hike
• We will set off on a moderately-paced hike through the woods as a group **
• At some point we can take a longer break to refuel with water, snacks and appreciate whatever view or body of water we are near.
• Upon our return to the trailhead, Coach Ari will lead the group in some light stretches as we circle back to our prompt share any reflections

** LATE ARRIVALS: We will start the hike no later than 1:45, If you are running late, communicate with the organizer, Ari (call or text 614.492.8632) We cannot guarantee that we can hold off the hike for late arrivals, as this is a group hike, but we will do our best for those who communicate. Please plan accordinly for traffic and parking.

BYO:

• Water bottle
• Snacks or sack lunch
• Backpack/fanny pack
• Wear supportive shoes suitable for walking on an unpaved trail

*Optional:

• hammock or picnic blanket
• journal & writing utensil
• Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash

• PLEASE< be sure to eat something or intake some sort of fuel before the hike and bring snacks along. We are going to be exerting energy, so please plan accordingly.

PARKING: $5 pay at the booth upon arrival
