Knots can save your life—if you know how and when to use them.
In this hands-on online class, Karie Lee will guide you through the essential knots used in wilderness survival, homesteading, and everyday life. You’ll not only learn how to tie them you’ll learn when to use them and why they matter.
You’ll also explore the ancient art of cordage-making, transforming wild plant fibers into strong, functional rope. Whether you're hiking, camping, or living off-grid, these are foundational skills you’ll use again and again.
What You’ll Learn
- The most useful knots for survival and daily life
- When, why, and how to use each knot
- How to make cordage from wild plant fibers
- Tips for gathering and preparing natural materials
What to Bring
- Two pieces of paracord or rope in two different colors
- Plant fibers from your local area (such as dogbane, stinging nettle, milkweed, agave, or cedar bark strips)
- No wild fibers? Yarn works as a substitute!
This class is free for Survival Sisterhood members and will be recorded for later viewing.
