Weaving Workshop

Insights into your experience
For thousands of years Our Elders have passed down their knowledge generation to generation, to keep the land, their culture and their people strong.
Through this workshop our weaver would like to share a part of their culture with you, so you can learn something, create something and show your family.
The workshop does not enable you to do weaving on a professional level, but is an experience to understand Aboriginal weaving and culture better.
The weaving workshop runs for 4hrs and will be guided by a local Wonnarua weaver from Kilipiynpiyn Workshops. You will learn about traditional fibres used in weaving and the process of producing the fibres.
You will get to create, keep and share your own bracelets, applying your new knowledge.
