Trumpeter Dave Williams leads MBT (MajicBulletTheory), which has a bag of tricks that include soulful versions of classic tunes and the band's originals. This music collective has been playing together for over fifteen years and has an almost telepathic groove as they belt out a spiritual and funky stew that is all their own. Opening will be baritone saxophonist and composer Daniel Wijedasa, and his dynamic quintet who bring exploration and energy to jazz originals and standards.
