Vegan Chinese Cooking Class — Shalom San Miguel JC3

Class Descriptions:

Each class will be 2-1/2 hours which will include introduction to the class topic and review of recipes.

Class will then prepare and cook 2 to 4 dishes, which will be served as a group meal at the end of class.

Please bring an apron, pen and notebook and at least one knife you are comfortable using to each class.

Class 4: Tofu: 4 Different Ways

Learn about the standard tofu or bean curd: Soft, Firm and Extra Firm. See how different Silken and regular Tofu are and when best to use them. Review some of the more interesting tofu forms and variations used in Chinese cuisine.

We will prepare 4 dishes for our group meal: Cantonese-Style Steamed Tofu, Spicy Bean Curd, Tofu with Ginger & Black Bean Sauce (all served with Steamed White Rice).
