Come one, come all! The Blank Space and The Wandering Yogi are hosting another community hike at Purgatory Creek Natural Area on Saturday, July 26th at 10:30 am.
Join us for a refreshing trek along the Purgatory Creek Overlook via Dante’s Trail, a 2.8-mile out-and-back trail perfect for hikers of all skill levels. This easy trail offers ample shade from live oak trees, making it a great choice for a summer hike, though some sunny spots remain. Benches along the route provide spots to rest and soak in the peaceful surroundings.
This hike is our act of Seva, bringing souls together for community and fellowship. We’ll kick off the adventure with pranayama to center ourselves before connecting with nature and each other. It will be hot, hot, hot, so please hydrate! Bring plenty of water, as there are no fountains on the trail. Sunscreen, lightweight clothes, and sturdy, comfy shoes are recommended due to some rocky sections.
This is a family-friendly event, and leashed, friendly dogs are welcome too.
Meet at the Lower Purgatory trailhead at 2102 Hunter Road, where parking, a map, and a porta-potty are available.
We’re thrilled for our next Community Hike—see you there!
