Refund Policy

Our refund policy is designed to be simple, transparent, and fair — so you know exactly what will happen if plans change for you or for us. It follows industry best-practice timelines and mirrors the organizer-responsibility guidelines published by major ticketing platforms.

Key points at a glance

• Full refund (or free transfer) if we cancel or reschedule the class. We will notify you by email and process the refund within 5 business days, the time frame recommended for organizers. 
• 48-hour grace window. Cancel up to 48 hours before the class start time for a 100 % refund (minus any payment-processor fees we can’t recover). Policies that offer a clear cut-off reduce chargebacks and disputes.
• Late cancellations (< 48 h). We’ll gladly move your Couple Pass to another Monday within the next 30 days. If a transfer isn’t possible, we provide a 50% refund to cover fixed venue costs already incurred.
• No-show policy. Tickets are non-refundable once class begins, but you may gift or sell your pass to another couple—just email us their names before the lesson. Allowing name changes keeps seats filled while remaining fair to all dancers.
• How to request. Email marcelo@escuelatangoba.com with your order number; we respond within 24 hours and issue approved refunds through the original payment method. Clear contact instructions are required by AllEvents support.

A written timeline plus partial-refund and transfer options balance attendee flexibility with the real, non-recoverable costs of studio rental and staffing, matching recommendations from multiple ticketing help centres and legal-template providers.
