Kristi Yamaguchi’s Family Literacy Festival

Enjoy a fun-filled day promoting literacy!

Families will enjoy all the Museum has to offer, along with celebrity and author story readings, hands-on activities and art projects, and family friendly entertainment. All included with your special event day admission ticket!

A collaboration between Kristi Yamaguchi’s Always Dream, Children’s Discovery Museum and the San José Public Library Foundation, to promote the importance of reading.

Entertainment will include Andy Z, Ricky Roo & Friends Puppet Show, celebrity and author storytellers, and special appearances by local San Jose mascots Sharkie, Frenzy and Q. This will also be the first day the Children's Discovery Museum will preview their new traveling exhibit based on a very well known literary character, Curious George!
