About the event

Business Model Canvas Workshop
주최: KIC Silicon Valley & Santa Clara Korean American Chamber of Commerce

About this Event

The BMC workshop introduced the nine essential building blocks of a business model, encouraging participants to think strategically about how a business creates, delivers, and captures value. Through hands-on activities and collaborative discussions, teams mapped out their business ideas or existing models using the BMC framework.

Agenda

🕑: 06:00 PM - 08:00 PM
Session 1: Understanding the Business Model Canvas

Objective: Understand the 9 building blocks of the Business Model Canvas and apply them to real companies and participants' ideas.

Key Activities:

Introduction to the BMC framework

Deep dive into each component (e.g., Key Partners, Value Proposition)

Case studies: BMC breakdown of Silicon Valley startups (e.g., Airbnb, Uber)

Any korean companies that come to mind as comparison

Drafting each team’s initial business model canvas

Send me a list of the startups - this would allow me to tailor the session to their needs.

Any specific companies or business models the participants are interested in discussing?

Using local insights gathered during visits

Question: have they done any customer discovery interviews or validated problems already. This leads to two options:

1) They work on their projects

2) I provide them with products and they have to reverse engineer the VPC.
