AWỌ Presents Welcoming Week Garden Soiree: Stories We Share

We're excited to invite you to the Welcoming Week Garden Soiree: Stories We Share on Sunday, September 14th.

AWỌ in collaboration with Afriicionado, is hosting this event as part of a global initiative to celebrate the power of storytelling in building belonging and connection across communities. Locally, our aim is to break cultural silos and spark conversations that foster deeper connections. We want to highlight our differences and our shared experiences.

As we transition our programming this year, we are focusing on bringing our diverse Bay Area communities together to celebrate one another through stories, food, the arts, and culture. We believe that by creating more space to share with each other, we can build greater understanding and shape what comes next for our communities.
