An Evening of hope to Rebuild Our Community Together

Dear friends and family

We are excited to extend an invitation to a truly remarkable opportunity that will shape the future of our community and support the generations to come. Join us in laying the foundation for a center that will serve as a place of unity, growth, and support.

As you may know, on September 5, 2024, our beloved community center was tragically destroyed due to fire. This heartbreaking loss has left us without a central gathering space for the vital services we provide.

However, rather than dwelling on this loss, we are turning this moment into an opportunity to build something lasting and meaningful for the future.

To ensure a stable and lasting home for our children, families, and community, we are coming together to purchase a new, permanent center. This new space will allow us to expand and enhance our vital programs, including:

• Mentorship Programs that guide youth and young professionals in their personal, educational, and career development.
• Religious Study Programs that provide essential Islamic education for children and adults, fostering spiritual growth and a strong sense of identity based on love and respect for each other.
• Orphans Support
• Community Engagement & Social Services, including assistance with food and resources for those in need.
• Ramadan Iftar and Food Assistance programs to support families during the blessed month.
• Elderly Mothers' Gatherings, providing a space for our elders to meet, share a meal, and connect with others.

We invite you to be a part of this exciting journey by supporting our upcoming fundraising dinner, where you will have the chance to part of this important cause while enjoying traditional Ethiopian dishes.
