Create a Japanese Maple Bonsai with Che Vincent

Create your own bonsai to take home and enjoy a tour of tutor Che Vincent’s bonsai nursery, which houses an extensive collection of bonsai plants.

You'll learn essential techniques for training and styling, including the Cliff Bonsai—a striking variation where trees appear to grow from rocky edges, mimicking those found on mountain cliffs. The workshop also covers best practices for bonsai care and maintenance.

All materials and pots will be provided, but please bring a well-shaped rock (10–20 cm) for the ridge-over-rock style bonsai to personalise your creation!

This workshop is for ages 12 and above.
