Volunteer with Junior League: NEXT Village SF

Join us for a Saturday afternoon of card-writing for NEXT Village SF at Junior League headquarters! A representative from NEXT Village SF will guide us through their impactful work in the community. This volunteer opportunity will also give you a preview of the types of projects available to JLSF members. All supplies, light bites, and beverages will be provided.

NEXT Village SF is a neighborhood nonprofit providing services and support that empower members to live independently in their own homes as they age. Their volunteers and staff work together to enrich, enhance, and nourish the lives of seniors in our community. As a vibrant, growing network for aging adults in northeast San Francisco, NEXT Village SF is a connection you can count on. Everyday, they work to build caring communities that dignify aging and honor our desire to age in the place we call home.

Our Mission: The Junior League of San Francisco is an organization of women whose mission is to advance women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training.

Our Focus Area: Since 2023, the JLSF has focused on bridging the gap of Essential Needs in the San Francisco community. Essential Needs encompasses a number of issues, but we target our work within three pillars: Housing, Food, and Basic Personal Necessities.
