SF’s Newest Night Market is Bringing Music, Arts, and Food back to Folsom Street. 

A new Night Market has launched and transforms Folsom Street just in time for Summer. 

On May 22nd at 5:00 pm  “SOMA Nights” will take place on Folsom Street as an addition to the city's new Entertainment Zone legislation. SOMA West Community Benefit District has partnered up with Civic Joy Fund and Music City to transform Folsom street into a Music Festival bringing in many genres of music to activate local businesses all along Folsom Street. 

Music City is set to curate a line up of local artist for the of SOMA Nights Street closure stages, as well as activating four different bars - Driftwood, Deccant, Azucar Lounge, Enterprise Brewery - are expected to turn up the volume with DJ’s, acoustic performances, along with cumbia & salsa songs. On Langton Street, Here & There Records will spin vinyl and keep the dance floor open until 9. Meanwhile, Hallam Street is bringing out the heavy artillery with Bayonics—a local band from the Mission that has spent the past two decades blending reggae and Latin music into a style as unique as the city they call home—followed by Baycoin Beats, a jazz-soul fusion band known for their classy, high-energy sets that guests will be talking about for years to come.

Residents are loving the Night Market series, and local businesses along Folsom Street have seen a 64.57% revenue boost on event days. This night market supports local artists, nonprofits, and businesses along the Folsom corridor—bringing community and culture to the streets every 4th Thursday of the month.
