Creativity is my life! I am, Tatiana, - "orchestra person"? But it's not about music at all. As in an orchestra, many instruments sound harmonious and play the same tune, so I draw with different materials, in different techniques and directions and get the music of creativity.
Creative Credo
«Creative work is a wonderful, unusually hard and amazingly joyful work. »
Nikolai Ostrovsky
These words, perhaps, most accurately describe me.
I love watercolor in all its manifestations - inimitable bright and airy painting. I am liked the soft pastel for its softness, velvety and tenderness. My inquisitive mind keeps me busy and I like to experiment with modern techniques of interior painting, InkArt and FluidArt.
My art is an expression of my love for the world, which aims to inspire the viewer, to awaken self-reflection, to bring a sense of healing and harmony with the world around me, to love nature and appreciate its riches.
I want my work to inspire you and become an expressive accent that complements and enriches your interior.
My name is Tatyana Blizenko, and I am a Ukrainian artist. I was born, lived, and created in Odessa, Ukraine. Currently, I reside in San Francisco. I am an educator with over 25 years of experience, a first-category teacher, artist, and interior designer. I conduct master classes, teach children and adults, and organize art marathons.
As long as I can remember, I have always been drawing. I received a classical higher art education at Ushynsky South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University, specializing in art and drafting education. My love for drawing evolved into a passion for interior design, which I also pursue. For 14 years, I taught the "Interior Design" course at the International Design School "SK" in Odessa and ran projects in my studio YutaStyle.
For many years, I have been working with children and adults. Before recent events in Ukraine, I conducted classes for children and master classes in painting with various materials in an art studio: oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, and alcohol markers, both for children and adults. Now, I am returning to creativity and teaching in San Francisco.
I am an honest and open person, love sharing knowledge, and am delighted when my students progress. My English is not perfect yet, but you come not to talk but to draw, and in this, I am a professional. I am a workaholic and engage in multiple directions. Despite my experience, I started painting independently only in 2021. I prefer watercolor and dry pastel and also create digital illustrations—food illustrations, interior and event sketches. I also paint on clothing—jackets, T-shirts, and bags.
I draw inspiration from nature, architecture, and still lifes. Due to everyday hustle and multitasking, nature is my sole inspiration. Travels and the surrounding world also inspire me. My works tend toward realism, but sometimes I let my emotions flow into my works. I seek beauty in simple things, and some of my works are also vision boards—places I haven't been yet but would love to visit.
I look forward to seeing you at my home studio, TBArt Studio!
