The Next Generation of Napa Wine - The Vice

The Vice was founded with the belief that the best wine is not the one with the highest price tag - it's the wine that's the most meticulously crafted. They proudly craft wine from 15 of Napa's 16 sub-regions, the only vintner offering such a diverse portfolio of Napa Valley under one label.

This August Scopo Divino will be presenting Torie Greenberg Amrani and The Vice. We will be experiencing four of their exceptional wines (including the "peak" of their collection!), paired with an amazing three-course meal crafted by celebrity guest Chef and legend, Erik Hopfinger.

The Event

This will be a Three Course Tasting Meal with Wines Paired for each course, and will include the opportunity to meet and engage with Founder Torrie herself. You'll also have the chance to meet Erik Hopfinger. As guests at the dinner you will have access to special reserve one-night-only pricing on bottles of the wines to go.

Pairing wine & food is an art, and these dinners are built in reverse. As in we taste and select the wine first, THEN craft the meal around them. In this way you'll come away with an excellent understanding of the wines - how you might drink, serve, share, and cook with them.

The first seating will be at 5:30pm, the second at 8:00pm. We show guests to their tables 15 minutes prior to each seating and start promptly at the times listed.

Note: The tickets are $120 + Eventbrite fees, all other tax, service, & gratuity is included.

Celebrity Guest Chef - Erik Hopfinger

Erik has been working in the Bay for over 20 years during which he has opened over 30 restaurants - three of them three star ratings, one listed as Top 10 Restaurant, & he was named San Francisco Chonincle's Rising Star Chef in 2002. He was also on the successful TV series Top Chef season 4, and was friends with Anthony Bourdain.

Torie Greenberg Amrani is the founder and chief brand officer of The Vice Wine. Torie and her husband Malek Amrani have worked tirelessly to build their wine as the brand of choice for wine diehards and first-timers alike, balancing the classic quality of California vineyards with a current understanding of the customer's wine trend.
