Blindfolded Contact - Surrendering to Our Inner Sight
Blindfolded Contact Dance is a slow and gentle experience—for both beginners and experienced dancers alike. The constraint of the blindfold invites dancers to explore other senses to find connection, expression, pleasure, and safety. These workshops take participants on a journey of somatic self-discovery and non-verbal consent via solo and group exercises—both with and without blindfolds.
CANDICE HOLDORF
Candice is a writer and coach with a focus on reclaiming erotic embodiment through exploring shame and shadow. She brings her passion for movement, play, and creative self-expression to her work as a group facilitator. She has trained in various healing modalities such as yoga and orgasmic meditation as well as studied Alexander Technique and theatrical movement while getting her BFA at NYU. theorgasmiclife.com
GABRIEL DIAMOND
Gabriel is a long-time dancer who has practiced many modalities of conscious movement. He has developed a passion for exploring how blindfolds can be be used as a medicine and tool for transcending biases, cravings, and aversions. His work as an artist explores the intersection of activism, street theatre, shadow work, and embodiment. He is the co-founder of Vulnerable Rally. TROY DAYTON
Troy has spent his life building community and studying human connection. In addition to coaching people who want more inner peace, vitality, and purpose he also produces private invitation-only transformational parties, retreats, and festivals. Troy co-founded Students for Sensible Drug Policy, The Arcview Group (first and largest consortium of cannabis investors), CanopyBoulder (first accelerator in the cannabis sector), and BurnerMap (largest social network of Burning Man Participants). He also served in leadership roles at MAPS and the Marijuana Policy Project.
KING KAIROS
After nine years of training and performing as an opera singer, King Kairos decided to carry over the remains of a traditional music background into a more futuristic, innovative approach to art, sound, and embodiment. Now, through experimentation and play, they continue to expand their own identity through an ever-evolving range of styles.
King Kairos has shown a natural ability to relate to the collective, with pure emotion and raw creativity, King’s music invites listeners to dive deep within themselves and summon their own fullest range of expression. Their mystical, yet relatable approach to artistry is entrancing. They blend the psychedelic with the surreal, balance the sophisticated with the playful, and merge light with dark… all in one curious adventure. Jämi is a visionary producer with an ear for the exotic.He believes that Music, Breath and Movement are the keys to unlocking human potential and returning to the natural frequency of True Love. Jämi has dedicated his life work to the expansion of consciousness.Movement + Love = FreedomA true musicologist, Jämi sources and rides the emergent wave of sonic innovation. His mixes span all genres and tempos of dance music serving up an alchemical elixir of multi-dimensional sound wizardry. Jämi elegantly plays live percussion during his set which uniquely activates the shamanic potential of the dance floor. His beats are a ceremonial carnival of epic proportion. His artistry is truly unique - he is gifted and clearly called to hold some very new and transformational frequencies.
Jämi Deva was blessed to be initiated into Ecstatic Dance with his first gig at Big island’s Kalani Sunday Morning eDance in 2010. Launching him on a journey that led him to 5Rhythms at The Moving Center in Sausalito and then to create his own weekly dance. DevaDance first began in Sedona and then moved to Ojai, CA. where it has has been consistently pumping out delicious ecstatic grooves since 2012.

CASSIAN ROSE
Cassian Rose is an Oakland-based musician and sound artist. His work is highly improvisational with classical, jazz, rock, and experimental roots.
He creates acoustic-electric performances, creating lush textural soundscapes that blend violin and vocals with live looping and audio processing effects.

Mixed by a Seasoned DJ for a Continuous Sonic Journey.
Move however you wish, without verbal guidance, shoes, or booze.
Music will flow through various Tempos, Genres, Intensities, and Emotions, so that Dancers may Experience, Express, and Transform their own Energies on the Dancefloor Together.
