Evening Delight: Authentic Movement

The Queer Men's Conscious Community offers a monthly facilitated event called Evening Delight: an evening-length gathering that starts with an hour of connecting facilitation, followed by two hours of socializing in a beautiful event space in the Mission. Lounging, snacks, tea, and music are all on offer.

This month Tim Pauly will be leading folks in an Authentic Movement practice. Authentic Movement is a practice of movement and witnessing. In each practice, one person will close their eyes and simply respond to impulse while the other serves as an attentive witness. Then they trade roles and do it again. The invitation to connect to your inner world while being seen can be raw and charged. The invitation to bring your full attention to another person who is exploring their inner experience can similarly raise huge questions around care, connection, and mystery. And all of this happens without words, body to body!

NEW FORMAT> we're offering two ways to participate:

+ Full event with Authentic Movement practice ($33 early bird, $40 week-of, limited to 20 participants)

AND

+ Swoop-In Social Time ($15, limited to 30 tickets), join us at 7:45pm after the movement practice to bask in the glow of an alternative queer social scene. Includes closing connecting circle.
