Born and raised in the Bay Area in 1984 as a first-generation Costa Rican American, Tanya has pursued art passionately since childhood. Specializing in pyrography since 2008, she expanded to leather in 2013 and bone in 2015.
Her work now includes custom pyrography on knives and cutlery, burning designs onto handles or sheaths. Each piece is made with care and intention, turning everyday tools into personal keepsakes. Come by Bernal Cutlery and get your kitchen items personalized on the spot!
