We’re delighted to welcome Teague back to the collective for a series of Dharma Art offerings this December!
At the heart of Teague's work are his signature, large-scale earth art installations called “Mandalynths”. Part mandala, part walking labyrinth, these ancient tools for insight and transformation are reimagined as public art installations and ephemeral containers for contemplative practice.
With installations up to 300 feet, created by drawing lines and textures in sand, these “illustrated intentions” emerge from Teague’s meditation practice. Each intention-driven creation is a visual reflections of core Buddhist themes such as impermanence, equanimity, compassion, and Buddha nature. His creative process is itself a form of flow-state meditation, blending movement, mantra, walking practice, kinesthetic awareness, and attunement to the elements he co-creates with. The result is a channeled, contemplative experience for the community that speaks to the heart of Dharma practice.

About The Artist:
Teague O’Malley is a contemplative artist and meditation teacher working at the intersection of modern science, ancient wisdom, and creative practice. He teaches stress resilience and emotional balance programs in healthcare, clinical research, and higher education, including Mayo Clinic and Brown University School of Public Health.
Teague is also an instructor at Pratt Institute, where he teaches semester-long contemplative art courses to design students for academic credit. His approach integrates Dharma teachings with creative process and contemplative inquiry, turning the creative act into a practice for students to harness the power of their attention, creativity, and inner sovereignty.
His earth art mandalas and labyrinths have been exhibited in galleries and contemplative spaces, and his work continues to evolve as a living dialogue between embodied awareness, art-making, and the natural intelligence of the universe. Teague’s personal practice is informed by Bauhaus principles of design thinking and societal impact, the Shambhala Art program, and the guidance of his Tibetan and Insight teachers.
