Chai Hard: Desi Standup Comedy with Bhavya Shah

Get ready for a night of laughs at Chai Hard: A Desi Standup Comedy Show! Every month, we host killer lineups featuring some of the funniest Millennial and Gen Z Desi-American comedians in the Bay Area.

This month, our headliner is Bhavya Shah. Bhavya's hilarious comedy and experiences as a blind Stanford student have helped build an audience of over 300k followers on Instagram. Bhavya has toured around the United States and been featured on India's Got Latent.

100% of profits from Chai Hard are donated to the charity American India Foundation — a nonprofit supporting education and public health initiatives in India.

Doors open at 7:30. Food, alcohol, refreshments, and popcorn are served in Balboa's historic lobby — open all day!
