Melinda and the Meander are an indie band from San Jose, CA, crafting original music that slips between genres and reshapes expectations. Led by singer-songwriter Melinda Kausek, they take her dreamy, haunting, and sometimes sassy songs and weave them into infectious bops and ballads. Holding down the rhythm, Sam Feinstein brings the full range of his upright bass to Mickey Radotich’s tight, intuitive drum grooves. TK Tran always adds the perfect touch with his Telecaster—whether it’s a haunting call and response or a funked-out wah.
