TUE AM - Intermediate Acrylics with Kate Ashton

Prerequisite for this class is Intro to Acrylics.

From realism to abstract and everything in between.

This course builds upon the skills acquired in our introductory class. Artists will dive deeper into learning about color and composition using acrylics as well as more advanced approaches to painting.

​Each artist will be working on 1-2 pieces that they will complete during the 5-week course.

Intermediate prepares our students for Special Studies, Advanced Classes, Mentorship Program, and Professional Artists Program.

Intermediate offers a new lesson each week, so students can take this course again and again as much they'd like. We recommend students take 3 sessions before attending more advanced classes.

This is a studio class and students will be using their supplies on the first week.

Supply List for Students to Bring on Week 1:

• canvases or wood panels, any size
• a palette or palette paper
• acrylic paints and mediums
• acrylic bristle brushes in various sizes
• palette knives
• any art tools or materials you have
• quality paper towels like Viva or Blue Shop Towel
