We’re excited to invite you to the second installment of the Healing Wave Wellness Series!
Join us for a trauma-informed yoga practice by the bay designed to support grounding, presence, and nervous system regulation. The class begins with breathwork and mindful awareness, followed by rhythmic movement and breath-to-motion flow. We will build gentle heat with balancing postures, then transition into deeper yin holds to release tension. The session closes with a guided yoga nidra meditation and sound healing, constructed rest, leaving participants restored and connected. All levels are welcome.
Kaitlynn Hardy of OG Yoga will lead this month's event. Kaitlynn is a Navy veteran, mom, and certified trauma-informed yoga teacher. After eight years of active duty, she discovered the power of mindful movement and breathwork to reconnect with her body, regulate her nervous system, and approach healing with self-compassion. Now, through her work with OG Yoga, she shares these practices with fellow veterans, first responders, caregivers, and community members seeking resilience and balance.
OG Yoga is a San Diego–based nonprofit dedicated to making trauma-informed yoga accessible to communities that need it most. Their mission is to empower people to become their own greatest healers, creating safe, inclusive spaces where movement, breath, and mindfulness support true healing.
Join us Friday, October 24th, at 5:30 pm in the grass at Mission Bay Park - Playa II with comfortable clothes and a yoga mat or blanket to sit on!
