The Circle, The Center at The Rope Collective

This class is open to all experience levels and styles ofmovement, come as you are with an open mind and openheart. My goal is to guide movement towards pathways of leastresistance and most pleasure. Your technique is lessimportant than your experience of the movement. Releaseyour expectations of what dance "should" look like, anddive beneath the surjace of what is.We will be moving through a guided improvisationalmovement score, so move at your own pace, but comeready to move.

Please wear comjortable, light, athletic wear or clothingyou have a ree range o motion in. Please bring water and snacks if you need to refuel!

Justine is a multidisciplinary danceartist based out of Southern California,She comes from a lifelong backgroundin the perjorming arts with experiencein theater, music, and dance. She hasstudied at and worked alongsideseveral institutions such as GrossmontCollege Dance, The SDSU Department ofDance, and the San Diego Dance Theater School.

She has also toured andperformed nationally with competitivegroups such as the Alchemy and GoldPerforming Arts Organization.Currenty she holds the roles ofResident Dancer, Talent Liaison andSpiritual Advisor within the nightlifeartists collective Obsession Events.Aside from her work in the performing artsworld, Justine has also dedicated well over adecade of research into the oecult and mysticapts. And had dedicated several years toworking at a local metaphysical store whereshe was fully immersed in conversation, study,and practice of all things magical. While her ownbackground and belies are ecleetie, this dancepraxis revolves around her study and workwithin the Dionysian Mysteries, and forms ofritual and devotional dance.
