Thai Massage Foundations, Level 1

Thai Massage Foundations (Level 1) training is an intensive weekend course that covers all the basics of Thai Bodywork: safe body mechanics, fluid transitions, all four positions (supine, prone, side, seated), and the fundamental principles of Thai Massage (compression therapy, assisted stretching, joint mobilization, and positional release).

A vast majority of participants are yoga teachers and massage therapists. Personal trainers, physical therapists, PTAs, nurses, martial artists, dancers, and anyone interested in learning an ancient method of hands-on healing will benefit from this Thai Massage training.Level 1 is open to anyone. No prior experience is necessary.(Qualifies for 10 CEUs)

Slava, originally from Siberia, is a master bodyworker in the San Diego area. His method of bodywork is drawn from the traditions of Thai Massage, Shiatsu, Russian manual therapy, and Neuromuscular Therapy. Slava has studied and practiced Thai Massage in the United States and Thailand since 2004. He completed his LMT training in 2004 in San Diego at the International Professional School of Bodywork with the focus on Traditional Thai Massage, Neuromuscular Therapy, and Traditional Chinese Massage (Tui Na). His book Thai Massage with Neuromuscular Techniques was published in May 2022.

Workshop Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds. Cancellations made 24 hours in advance will receive a studio credit towards another workshop for the amount paid. No shows/ Cancellations made the day of the workshop will not receive a refund or credit.
