SPARK! Igniting the Fire of Resistance

The San Diego Women’s Chorus is proud to present SPARK, our 2025 spring concert that invites you to ignite the fire within and celebrate the power of connection, creativity, and collective strength.

In a time filled with uncertainty, SPARK is a musical testament to resilience and hope. Under the dynamic artistic direction of Kathleen Hansen, this program explores the many forms our inner fire can take—from a quiet flicker to a blazing flame—and reminds us that when we unite our passions and purpose, we can illuminate the path forward.

The first half of the concert captures the complexity and beauty of personal and communal growth through a diverse and emotionally rich selection of songs. In the second half, we are thrilled to be joined by a chamber orchestra for a powerful preview of the set that members of SDWC will perform this June at Carnegie Hall in New York City.

SPARK is more than just a performance—it's an invitation to witness and share in the transformative power of music.
